Ellie's school did a Kindergarten parade today to wrap up their Red, White and Blue unit. All the kiddos created "floats" and all the kindergarten classes walked around the school showing off their American pride. Karin and I were both laughing about how back when we were in school this kind of thing would have been made fun of by the older kids but at Highland Creek Elementary it was cheered on and watched by all the kids. We love this school!
I think you will agree with me that Karin is in the wrong profession - she should be a professional float maker -> look at those hand folded flowers, those colors... Macy's would be proud.
