Just a note - the reference to the Four Bosses is from the Office this week in case you were confused...
When the world faces major conflict and our leaders don't know what to do, they call in the Four Bosses. Yes, that's right - you heard the rumors that 4 families control the power in this nation and it is all true I tell you. There was a secret meeting of the Four Bosses today at 8526 Wren Creek Dr and I was able to sneak in a few pictures and overhear a few topics of discussion...
- Who showered and when. Some showered last night which makes sense while others participated in wild and crazy activities like showering this morning and STILL making it on-time for the "early" 11AM EST meeting.
- Relative size of their husbands. "Do you think so and so is bigger than so and so?" "Oh heck yea he is like 6' 8!"
- The attractiveness of their husbands. Stories were exchanged re: which husbands had been hit on while at the gym (not mentioning any names). Also up for discussion were the husbands who were 100% high octane cougar bait (again not mentioning any names).
- Children's sugar intake. "I was making a PB&J sandwich and this girl asked me if I wanted honey on the sandwich?!?!?!?! I was like "girl, are you kidding me!?!?? And then I was like "girl, are you crazy?!?!?
- The surprising effectiveness of the hooter hider. Don't ask....just go to http://www.psychobabyonline.com/site/epage/28160_533.htm
- Gender acceptability of overalls. A male who was present suggested that overalls were girly. One of the Three Bosses (the fourth boss had left by this point) quickly shut down this argument by stating that they had at least 17 pairs of overalls for their male baby and that their husband was totally cool with it. The male who was present then questioned the decision making ability of this boss's husband but quickly recalled item 2 above and decided not to question the 6'8" husband's decisions for fear of a beatdown.
- Guessing and surmising about who else might be thinking about having babies.
- Boss#1 - "I just don't know if my best friend in the world Sally is thinking about having babies. I could ask her directly and she would probably answer me directly, but I am not going to do that. What do you guys think?"
- Boss #2 - "I have no idea who Sally is, know nothing about her, and shouldn't even care, but I am suddenly totally emotionally involved in this and I definitely think Sally is thinking about having a baby"
- Boss #3 - (with tears) "I also am in no way connected whatsoever with this "Sally" girl, but yet I feel for her and her situation and I really think she is thinking about having a baby".

I cannot attest to the truth behind ANY of these statements, HOWEVER, the title of this post and the continual usage of the term "bosses" to describe who was present is 100% accurate!!! (thanks James for EVESDROPPING on all of our discussions!!! we thought you were just adjusting camera settings, but really you were just gathering more input for your POST!!!)
ReplyDeleteshowers are overrated however, I gotta say I was one of the ones that showered today:)
