Spring Break: A Cool but Strong Start

Well today was the first day of Spring Break for the kids.  Ellie and Ava took full advantage of the time off from school by running around with all their friends from the street.  The weather was a little cool today, but that did not stop anyone from getting outside.  The big accomplishment of the day was burning through about 500 pieces of sidewalk chalk as they created what they all called the "White House".  Not sure why the called it that since it was all colors of the rainbow.  At one point they were framing out the final size of the "White House" and an overzealous youngster drew the box across the street and up one house from us.  Ellie looked at it for a while and finally told him that she could not go across the street so the "White House" would have to stay in our driveway...phew - we almost had to order a dumptruck full of chalk there...
