We ended up getting a nice new grill at the end of last summer. We needed more cooking surface for our larger gatherings and the old grill was starting to fall apart.
To Karin's dismay, I have stored our old grill behind a bush ever since we got the new one. I have been meaning to take it to the dump for a long time. I have been mowing around it for a number of weeks now. Don't call me white trash - if I were white trash I would have put it behind a bush in the front yard...
Our friends Lonnie and Angela were over on Sun night and suggested we post it in Craig's list rather than just throw it away. Today at lunch I snapped a few photos and posted it. I kid you not - within 10 minutes, someone called and said they wanted it and would pick it up that afternoon. Sure enough, within 3 hours, that grill was gone and I made a cool $10 and avoided a trip to the dump
Moral of the story is....sell your junk on Craigs List.
