Garden 2.0
Year two will be better than year one....I just know it! It is funny b/c starting out last year I was so confident that with all the detailed planning and prep that the garden would be a marvel of suburbian agriculture. Turned out my assumption that I did not need to fertilize due to my unique soil mixture was false and I missed much of the yielding season due to it. Lesson learned.
Just like last year, I am SURE that the garden is going to produce ridiculous amounts of fruit...maybe with the dialed in fertilization plan for 2011 I just might come close to that...
Calcium carbonite and soft rock phosphate additives to soil, nightime growing light to keep seedlings from getting leggy, EcoBoost to establish my seeds and seedlings, transplant fertilizer to help them make the transition from indoors to outdoors, seaweed fertilizer to help with plant growth, and an organic 4-4-2 fertilizer to help with fruit. Two additional 16 square foot garden plots; one by the house and another down in the woods to increase capacity. 2011 may just be the year of the garden....
