Friday found Charlotte receiving some fantastic weather - clear blue skies, sunny, and 80 degrees. After getting Ava's cast put on, Karin and the kids were able to take full advantage of this day off school by having friends and neighbors over for an unplanned driveway party! Water table for the little ones, hose for the big ones, and lunch, chairs, and cold beverages for the adults who got some kid-free time thanks to all the fun distractions. There may have even been a ladies trip to the local spa for a manicure/pedicure outing... Follow that up with dinner at Firebirds (pear margarita, gin & tonic, lobster queso dip, coconut shrimp, and sirloin) and you have one heck of a day!
