Ava and the Broken Arm

Poor little Ava had a fall on the playground today at school and she fractured her arm right above the elbow :(  She was in a lot of pain and had to first go to our primary care physician to get poked, prodded, and twisted around - which she did not like one bit.  They took an X-ray but decided we should go to an orthopedic doctor.  So off Karin and Ava went.  This guy was much better and was able to make the call on the X-ray but said it is 50/50 on if she will need surgery and pins.  3 hours later they came home with chick-fil-a and a milkshake for our little trooper.  We will be heading to another orthopedic doctor tomorrow.  So glad we picked the high deductible insurance plan this year!  Yay!!
