A Second Day of Playing in the Snow

It is a rare thing here in the South to have more than one day of snow playing.  Usually when it snows you have about 4 hours to enjoy it before it starts to melt.  Today the weather turned sunny and 41 degrees which definitely put a damper on the quality of snow playing, but we had enough that we were able to still get out there.  So we did a little bit more sledding and of course had to build the required snowman.

It is funny how you get that sad feeling when you see all the pretty snow dripping away.  It is a feeling that I have always had as the white stuff dissapears and the green and brown of the earth re-emerge.  At least we extracted about all the fun possible from this latest batch of snow....here is to hoping for MORE big snowfalls this year!!!!
