Today was a great day for a swim meet! Perfect blue skies, bright sun, and about 90 degrees by 9AM - you couldn't find too many cold kids around the pool deck today...although you could find LOTS of hot parents!
Ellie started the morning off with a power breakfast of french toast, 1 sausage patty (this kid loves sausage more than life - she always smacks her lips when I tell her we are having sausage for breakfast - so funny), and 1 medium egg.
Karin got her over to the pool by 8ish, she warmed up, and then competed in freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke. She did great and we were VERY proud of her. I still can't believe how lean, muscular, and strong this little thing is... Check out the video below to have a peek at what the meet was like.
