Tonight was the first "Big Kid" swim meet of the season and some of the younger kids were requested to participate in the meet. Ellie and her good buddy Mac (Mackenzie) were both called in to race 4 events each. The competition was much stiffer than the regular Speedy Meet and both girls rose to the occasion. They both swam very well and more importantly had a great time. I asked Ellie which kind of meet she liked more and she said she liked the big kid meets more than speedy meets...who would have thought...
