We hit a milestone today - Ellie rode her bike to school for the very first time!! We had such a blast. Door to door the trip took us 16 minutes and we were able to conduct virtually the entire trip on the tree lined walking trails of Highland Creek. It is a beautiful route that includes wooden bridges, creeks, golf courses, and tons of woods. A great way to start the morning.
Tonight when I was putting the kids down for bed I asked Ellie if she liked riding her bike to school more than riding the bus. She said yes but then thought about it for a minute and said "but it makes me kind of sweaty." That's my little princess :)

It amazes me that you can make a party and reason for a video out of anything, James. That's what makes you such a good father though. I love that about you. That's really cool that she can ride so far.
