The Super Secret Way to Keep up with Multiple Blogs

Oh kiddies, Uncle J is about to share a secret that will revolutionize your blogging prowess.  Now, before I go too far, I must apologize to any of my readers that are what we call "tech-savy", "with it", "cool", or "not retarded".  From your perspective, you master of all things world wide web related, I might as well have named this post "how to freaking breath air."

It is all about iGoogle.  Read this to get a brief overview of iGoogle.  Using iGoogle you can set up a single Internet Explorer page to display the last 3 posts from many different blogs.  You can go crazy and create multiple tabs on your single IE page to further categorize your blogs or to store other cool stuff...on one of mine I keep a number of handy tools I use for work like... currency converters, unit converters, world clock with multiple timezones, flightstats.com...

Here is a quick tutorial on how to add a blog to your page.

1) Click on "Add stuff" in the upper right hand side of the page

2) Click on "Add feed or gadget"

3) Copy and paste the URL from the homepage of the blog you want to add to your iGoogle page and click "add"

4) It should say "success" or something and when you go back to your home page the blog should be there.

Done.  Now you too can be cool.

  1. Or, if you don't want it to take up a whole page, you can just add Google Reader, and it will just show the new posts you haven't read yet...
