Our neighbors up the street were kind enough to invite us out on the lake with them today and we had such a great time! Being a total lake rookie, when I looked out the window and saw it raining this morning I was totally bummed b/c I figured we would not be heading out on the lake. Victoria and Chris were like "don't worry about it, it will be beautiful by noon.." Well they were totally right! As soon as we turned around the first island we saw clear blue skies ahead and 10 minutes later as Chris beached the boat the sun was out and it was warm. Talk about a fast weather change! I love that about the Carolinas.
The kids had a great time running around the island, playing in the sand, and swimming in the lake. The parents had a great time just hanging out. To summarize - we all had a great time :)
