Animal Planet called me up and wants to shoot on location at our house! Can you even belive it!?!?
OK, I am just kidding, but we are always commenting on how our backyard feels a little bit like Animal Kingdom these days. We have always had a pair of blue herons that hang out in the backyard fishing in our creek and an owl that likes to take up residence in the trees. This past week Ellie spotted a very large turtle in the backyard on her way down to breakfast. She looks to be laying eggs so we should have baby turtles in a little while. And then today we watched some baby birds trying to learn to fly. They were definitely struggling...
ps - during the video of the bird you will hear the bird crying like a little baby. It is NOT Branson....I wouldn't chase a little baby bird while my son was strapped to me in the Baby Bjorn crying b/c he needed a nap...
