So Ellie had her buddy Mac sleep over on Friday night and one of the "activities" they worked on was making a Clifford the Big Red Dog project with an associated story... They printed out the little dog houses and Birdwell Island structures, colored them, outsourced construction to cheap third party labor (mommy), taped them to their posterboard, colored more landscape items, wrote 2 page stories, stapled them to their posterboard, PRACTICED their oral reading of the story, and then "presented" the stories to us downstairs. Wow. Way to much work for a weekend if you ask me!!
