We are used to bumper crops around here - whether that is 8 sugar snap peas to share amongst 5 people or 1 cucumber for dinner. We operate on kind of a larger scale then most people, so Karin was not surprised when I walked in the other night with my first harvest of the year - 3 (three) (tres) THREE bright red radishes - she did not laugh at me at all.
Sidebar. Why do people grow radishes? They taste like air. Peppery air.
