Saturday night was a big night for Daddy and Ellie! We got to go to our 2nd Highland Creek Elementary Father Daughter Dance!!
Ellie looked beautiful in her new dress and fancy rhinestone headband. We snapped some nice pictures of the two of us and then headed out for the big event. I had asked Ellie what she was most looking forward to for this year's dance and as expected, she answered with "chocolate fondue fountain!!!" She wasn't kidding either...as we worked our way down the food table Ellie kept passing by all the food and I asked her if she was going to eat anything - she of course said she was waiting for the chocolate fondue. Since she had some california rolls before heading over I let it slide and she feasted on about 5 lbs of marshmellows, bannanas, pineaples, and strawberrys all dipped in some really good chocolate. Her favorite was the marshmellows and mine were the bannanas.
Once she get all amped up on sugar, dancing was next on our agenda. Little background on the dancing...just about every Thursday when Karin has to work at the store, the kids and I run an event at home which we call "Dance Party." Basically we turn on the 90's dance mix and crank it up during dinner. The kids practice all their crazy dance moves and have a blast. Well, Ellie was well prepared for this years Father Daughter dance and pulled out all the moves. It was all I could do to keep up with her. They played a bunch of fun songs and we even did a few line dances. Check out the video for all the details :)

Cute! Ellie looks so cute! She's got some nice dance party moves. Very impressive! Becca and I are going to have to refine our moves, the competitions getting tough!
