Well today was the first day of school for Mecklenburg County. Ellie woke up today bright eyed and bushy tailed ready for her first day. Following a bowl of Frosted Winnie Wheats (what the kids call it) we headed down to the bus stop where she eventually boarded a fancy new bus and headed off to school.
It is funny how much easier it was today than a year ago when she started Kindergarten. Last year we drove her to school on the first day b/c we were worried she might not find the room etc.. This year when given the option she was all about riding the bus.
