We discovered one of the trailheads to the Christenbury walking trail a few weeks ago, but were only able to check out about a quarter mile of it. Today with the sunny 65 degree weather we decided to go back and check out the entire trail. It is AWESOME!!! Not sure how long it is - maybe 1.5 or 2 miles end to end, but it winds through gorgeous geography - wetlands and some really nice housing communities. It is like a really nice version of the Meck greenway - you need to check this thing out the next chance you get. It was by FAR the highlight of our day today.
I am including a map so you can see where to access it as well as a little video/slideshow that highlights some of the natural beauty. Enjoy!!
ps - my dad got the family a 250mm zoom lens for the Rebel and oh my gosh is it sweet. It gives you so many more options when taking pictures. All the pics you see in this slideshow were taken with the new lens. Oh, and in case you are interested, all video was taken with Ellie's Flip video camera.
