Today marks the third day of Christmas at the Drescher house - we are celebrating the 12 days of Christmas with a different family activity everyday. In the morning the girls get to remove a link of our Christmas chain and inside each chain link they discover the day's activity that James and I have planned for them. So far we have made a gingerbread house and made Druffles together (for the Wray family Uffle Off scheduled for Christmas Eve - bring it on folks- the Druffles are better than ever this year!!). Anyway...so tonight I was out with the girls on our Mom/Daughter Christmas Shopping Date (a tradition I used to have with my mom) and day three's activity. We were out at dinner and I asked the girls what their favorite part of Christmas was. Hanging out with family, seeing all the lights, etc... Ava jumped in with a very serious face and said "Do you know why we celebrate Christmas?" and I said, "Do you?" Her response: "It's little Baby God's birthday!" hmmm...well, at least she's close.
