All that was missing was the pony...

The girls got to go to Baby Reilly's (that is her official name in our house used to differentiate between the 3 Riley's they know) birthday party this past weekend. It was a serious first birthday part for little Reilly (who is lucky enough to share a b-day with me) which included drinks, burgers with fixins, turkey dogs (which were killer), veggies, and last but not least - a cake the size of Rhode Island. Seriously, this lady bug themed cake was big enough to feed 50 people.

The kid's favorite part of course was not the delicious food or even the sweets; no the kid's favorite part was the face painting that Windsind's (what the kids used to call Lindsey) mom did.

We also got to meet a great couple (Amber and Bryan) who are expecting their first baby late this year. After much encouragement from the moms and maybe a litle heckling from the dads - we talked Bryan into taking Baby Buddy Branson James Drescher (what Ava thinks his "real" name is) for a test drive - Bryan has not held to many little babies so this was good training for him.

All in all it was a great time. The only thing missing were the pony rides :)
