Highland Creek Hurricanes!

It always feels like half of our summer is consumed with our neighborhood swim team.... maybe that's because it is... Both Ellie and Ava swam on our team's senior team this year which was great for them and even better for us since the junior team practices everyday at 8 and has meets on Saturday mornings. There are 240 kids on our team, but the coaching staff is great and they manage the insane number of kids quite well. They both swim freestyle, backstroke and butterfly and this year Ellie tried out a new event - the 100 meter IM. It's been really fun for them to track their times and see how they have improved from year to year. I am always amazed at how well they swim considering their ages. A few pictures from the season:
