The kiddos were quite excited to find all the fun stuff on the kitchen table for Valentines Day. Each kid scored cards from the likes of Nono & Gee-paw and even some sweet Hawaiian tee-shirts from Dad's trip there last month. Karin got them some cool lunch boxes and a Lightning McQueen drawing kit and daddy gave them little valentines, box of chocolates, and a Lightning McQueen toolbox for Branson. Mommy scored big this year with a REALLY nice valentine accompanied by a poem and a dozen red roses. Only problem with the roses is that I bought them on Saturday when I could sneak out of the house and then hid them in my closet in a vase of water till Monday morning. I don't think they liked being in the dark closet....oh well. Everyone knows that secrets kill roses.
Daddy and Ellie went out for a morning Valentines date to Panera for bagels and good conversation. Ava and Daddy went to Sonic for an after school Flurry. Mommy got an IOU for a soon to be scheduled date when we can NOT take Sage with us.
