Visiting Gigi and Gramps

One of the highlights of this summer will be the trip we made out to Dayton Ohio to visit Gigi and Gramps - my mom's parents.  My mom made it out as well which was awesome.  As usual my grandma spoiled us with all kinds of great food and her wonderful hospitality.  Some highlights:

1. Pasta dinner on the first night with homeade sauce.
2. Our card game tournament (31) which Ava won.
3. Branson's introduction to chocolate milk.
4. Popcicles at any hour of the day.
5. Kid shopping trip where they got the Barbie electric guitar.
6. Kids LOVING the diving board.
7. Branson stealing Gramp's napkin again.
8. Field trip to the pet store to play with puppies.
9. James and his gigantic bowl of banana cream pudding.
10. Branson sitting with Gramps reading his car book.
11. Miracle whip ham sandwiches around the patio table by the pool.
12. Photo session with "the shed."
13. Karin and I on rafts in the pool, hand in hand, with popsicles.

It really was a fantastic trip and we are so darn lucky to have such a great family who loves and cares for us.
