This past wednesday Ellie finished up her last day of first grade! I asked her if she was excited about starting summer vacation and she said sort of - she said she wanted to keep going to school. Who is this kid?!
She also got a big thick 300 page workbook on her last day to start working on 2nd grade materials. Most kids would sigh and put it off till the last day of summer vacation - not Ellie. I think she is on page 271 already.... This kid loves homework and loves workbooks. Our little type A :)
Enjoy some pics of when Karin picked her up from the bus stop. She brought ice cream drumsticks to celebrate the milestone. The kids liked that....
